Some Apache OpenOffice users are reporting that version 4.1.8 is crashing on Apple macOS 11.0 (aka “Big Sur” or 10.16) when opening OOXML documents – like .docx and .xlsx. The error message is:

I just installed LibreOffice 7.1.2.2 on my Macbook Pro running Big Sur 11.3 and some important features are not working. The format paintbrush does nothing and when I go to print it fails with a 'printer error' dialogue box. When I do 'About LibreOffice', it thinks it's running in MAC OS X 10.16 environment. Description: After I updated my Mac to Big Sur, my fonts got really blurry. I just downloaded the latest version of LibreOffice. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open any document or spreadsheet with LibreOffice. 2.Look at the fonts.
